ACRONYM PRIVATE CLOUD SERVICES:

Acronym provides our own Private Cloud Hosting Services directly to our clients which provides the benefits of cloud computing, but with the knowledge that your business systems and data are managed by Acronym locally.

Our Private Cloud offering also boasts a strong integrated offering with Microsoft Applications, Moneyworks Accounting, SmartBiller and SmartTasks.

ACRONYM PUBLIC CLOUD SERVICES:

Acronym's primary Public Cloud offering is Microsoft Office 365, specialising in supporting Exchange Online and SharePoint Online. We also provide a cloud based email failover and archiving solution using Google Postini.

ACRONYM HOSTED SOLUTIONS:

Acronym provides a complete range of hosted solutions from shared Virtual Private Servers (VPS), dedicated VPS, and dedicated servers. We can either provide subscription based software or client owned software solutions.

WHAT ARE HOSTED SERVICES:

Hosted Services are where the business systems (software applications) are delivered via the internet and typically your hosting provider is responsible for maintaining the core I.T infrastructure (Servers, Storage and Backups) to deliver these systems.

Hosted Services help to manage your IT expenses and provide greater levels of flexibility. You can easily expand or reduce your services as required.

Hosted Services are arranged into three distinct categories:

· Public Cloud Computing –resources (servers, storage and network) are shared on a global scale and you pay for software services per user. The hardware is provided by the hosting organization.

· Private Cloud Computing -resources (servers, storage and network) are shared on a local scale and you pay for software services per user. The hardware is provided by the hosting organization.

Shared Hosted Virtual Private Server (VPS) - A private instance on a virtual server is provided to run your business applications, the resources of the virtual server (CPU, RAM, Disk) are shared by more than one client.
Dedicated Hosted Virtual Private Server (VPS) - A virtual server is provided to run your business applications, resources (CPU, RAM, Disk) are dedicated to your virtual server. This solution allows for more customisation where needed.
Dedicated Server - A physical server is provided to run your business applications, the resources of the entire server (CPU, RAM, Disk) are available. This solution allows for maximum customisation where needed.

Hosted Server - a dedicated physical server is located in a data center and the maintenance of that server is provided by the hosting organization. The hardware is either purchased and owned by the company or provided by the hosting organization. Software applications will most likely be owned by the client. This solution allows for the maximum resources available to the server and highest level of configuration options.
