Case Study

Power Outage: A 120 user network covering 8 sites around NZ had a localised power outage causing the server farm to execute an automated controled power down during a non operation period on the weekend. Acronym's monitoring systems identified both the power outage and a subsequent failed service on the resumption of power and server restart. One of our engineers took action to resolve the outstanding issue thereby ensuring no downtime when staff returned to work on the monday morning.
 
Monitoring: For many of Acronyms clients we have constant monitoring systems reporting system health. For these clients we pro-actively monitor aspects of their network evey work day including system alert checks outside of normal work hours. Acronym takes action directly if included in the clients Support Agreement (SA) or alerts the customer to potential issues and proposes actions to minimise / prevent the effect on business operations. In many cases Acronym can fix an issue before the client themselves becomes aware of the problem.
